Barbara Thompson
- In 1995 I joined a large national Toronto consulting firm, eventually becoming the National Director of Business Development.
- Weekend escapes to Collingwood with my husband became a mandatory survival and began rather innocently in 2001.
- Living the dream became a fulltime reality in 2004, when we moved to Collingwood. Enriched by the local lifestyle and how business was done as a “local” was a new and welcome challenge as I started the Beauty Supply Outlet on Balsam Street.
- After three successful years, I was approached to sell the business and the most recent chapter of my career became my first passion – becoming a real estate sales representative.
- My love of the outdoors includes such passions as cycling, snowshoeing, hiking, weight training, and my dog Abby.
Anita Lauer
- In 1994, I started my own design & marketing company called
Fast & Furious Creative and Production Inc.
- After moving to Creemore, in 2002, I began working with developers,
promoting new developments in the area around Collingwood
and Thornbury. My passion for homes grew and my husband
and I decided to take on the project of building our own home.
- Knowing first hand the process of building helped me understand
the total home package.
- My passion for homes and knowledge of communication and
marketing are a perfect fit for the move to being a successful
real estate sales representative.
- Hanlan Rowing Club – Stroke for women's masters' team
(1994-2001), Monterra Tennis Club Collingwood, Queen’s Club
(Toronto), Creemore Tennis Club, Designer Quilting
Jessica Palmer
- In 1997 I was accepted to Prue Leiths Culinary School in London,
England.
- After returning to Toronto, I worked as a recruiter, which involved
both the interviewing of prospective clients as well as ensuring
that these candidates met the qualifications of my corporate
clients.
- Spent 8 years working for Jacob’s Ladder, the Canadian Foundation
for Control of Neurodegenerative Disease.
- My husband and I began purchasing properties, renovating them
and selling them.
- After finding personal satisfaction and monetary success in these
endeavours, I decided to obtain my real estate license and follow
my true passion of selling real estate.
- Began my real estate career in Toronto specializing in the Beach.
- My family’s love of adventure and desire to partake in outdoor
activities brought us to the beautiful Georgian Triangle. We enjoy
biking, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, boarding, sailing…..
